New Scholars Academy
is an intensive 4 year college preparatory program designed for home schooled students from the 9th through 12th grades. Based in Salem, Oregon, New Scholars Academy is not an online program but a face-to-face educational experience.

SACHSN works together with homeschooling families in the Salem, Oregon and surrounding areas to help encourage, inspire, and train parents in Christian home education and discipleship.

What is SACHSN Library?  
Corban University generously provides a wall of shelves within their library where the SACHSN Librarian may share home educating books, movies, and audios. By purchasing membership from the SACHSN Librarian, you receive access to the Home Education library as well as all the Corban Library resources. The SACHSN Library extends your home schooling dollar by offering quality educational resources.

What is NHERI?
NHERI is the National Home Education Research Institute. NHERI conducts and collects research about homeschooling (home-based education, home schooling), and publishes the research journal called the Home School Researcher. The institute has hundreds of research works documented and catalogued on home schooling, many of which were done by NHERI. Simply put, NHERI specializes in homeschool research.




Twin Rocks Outdoor School

Are you ready to spend a week exploring creation with your family and  friends on the Oregon Coast?  Outdoor School at Twin Rocks Friends Camp  offers opportunities to venture into nature as you never have before.  Standards based lessons with topics including shark dissections, mammal    studies, survival skills, and local history will capture the curiosity    of students and adults alike.

4-H  Outdoor School

The program is designed to give youth hands-on outdoor learning experiences with  natural science, pond study, forestry, outdoor cooking, leather craft, wind  energy, archery, animal habitat, survival skills and more. We will have featured  presentations and campfire activities. Free time activities include canoes,  swings, crafts, archery, soccer and more.

to Salem.An exciting, comprehensive music program, designed to help children discover the world of music through motivating materials and activities which develop the whole child.

Cathy Clark, tutor
